Wearing Purple

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him" (John 3:16-17).

Please show your love to a lost and dying world, not just today, but as long as you live.

Wear purple to show you are against gay abuse and (dare I say it) condemnation. Don't use demeaning phrases (like, "That's so gay") or tell demeaning jokes about sexuality. Don't allow your friends to do so in your presence.

If you are a believer in Jesus Christ as your Savior from sin, you are His ambassador to this world. When people look at you, what do they see about Him?

Hurting?

Let God heal you.

JEHOVAH-RAPHA God Who Heals

"But I will restore you to health
       and heal your wounds,'
       declares the LORD,
'because you are called an outcast,
Zion for whom no one cares'" (Jeremiah 30:17).

"Nevertheless, I will bring health and healing to it; I will heal my people and will let them enjoy abundant peace and security" (Jeremiah 33:6).

You Are Loved

"Don't be afraid, I've redeemed you.
I've called your name. You're mine.
When you're in over your head, I'll be there with you.
When you're in rough waters, you will not go down.
When you're between a rock and a hard place,
it won't be a dead end—
Because I am God, your personal God,
The Holy of Israel, your Savior.
I paid a huge price for you:
all of Egypt, with rich Cush and Seba thrown in!
That's how much you mean to me!
That's how much I love you!
I'd sell off the whole world to get you back,
trade the creation just for you."
~Isaiah 43:1-4 (The Message)

Don't ever doubt it!
